Fixed Income Funds units no longer sold in bank branches.

This week, trades of Islamic treasury bills (TB02) halted in order to be settled by the government at maturity in the upcoming week.

According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance’s recent announcement, the interest rate for EJAD 42 and EJAD 43 in the second year will be 15%. Iran’s Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO), forbids selling Fixed Income funds units in banks’ branches in accordance with CBI’s new policy to cut interest rates.
