 Currency Fluctuation Controlling Continues by Issuance of 20% Interest Manfat Bond

  • Manfat bonds, with interest rate of 20%, were issued for the first time on Iran’s debt market with a maturity of 3.5 years. The total value of these bonds is IRR 30tr, following the recent issuance of 20% CDs, aiming to control Rial devaluation.
  • Farabourse Chief of Market Development announced the issuance of government securities with a profit margin of 20% in the upcoming week. He states that release of these bonds has already been forecasted in the government budget program and its interest is expected to be paid every six months.
